Alaska Book Week: I’ll Be There, So Should You!

UPCOMING Appearances: Alaska Book Week. I’ll be there to talk about true-crime! Don’t worry if that’s not your thing — there’s something for everyone. And hey, Washington State friends, it’s a short flight and Alaska is beautiful this time of year. Just sayin’.

I’ll be introducing my latest book, “What Happened in Craig.” And signing books, too. Hope to see you all there.

I am honored to be sharing the stage with a heap of great Alaskan writers.

Jamey Bradbury’s book, The Wild Inside, is a creepy crime/horror novel that dramatically upends the conventions of the genre. Get ready for a wild ride — once the character Tracy Petrikoff takes hold of your collar, you can’t put this one down! We’ll be together at Barnes & Noble, along with Don Reardon, whose latest book, Never Quit, is a gripping tale of Alaska’s pararescue units. Jamey will also be at The Writer’s Block, Anchorage to talk about “Bad Girls of the North: Creating Alaskan Anti-heroes.”

At the University of Alaska Anchorage, I’ll be joining a panel called, “True Crime vs. Perfect Crime.” My good friend, Tom Brennan, Alaska’s best chronicler of true-crime in the 49th state, will be there. Joining us will be Edgar winning crime-novelist Dana Stabenow (whose latest book, Death of an Eye, is due in December) and Keenan Powell, who’ll talk about Deadly Solution, her latest Maeve Malloy Mystery.

I can’t wait. This is going to be fun!
